STEP ONE-CREATE A SURVEY:

Every landscape project needs to begin with a scaled survey drawing of your yard. If you don’t have one, we’ll make one for you! Dave, our fearless associate, will come to your property and measure EVERYTHING for an accurate, down-to-the-inch CAD survey from which we can create your new landscape plan.

STEP TWO-DESIGN INTAKE MEETING:

We’ll discuss in person at your property or via Zoom your landscape wishes and needs, and Dawn will offer practical, informed options to give you the landscape you are dreaming of. We’ll cover all of the wonderful possibilities and will discuss layout, flow, functionality, entertaining needs, materials, plant likes and dislikes, and special features. Dawn will utilize her twenty-three years of experience designing and building gardens to help you imagine a whole new look for your landscape, or perhaps just a stylish update.

STEP THREE-CONCEPT PLAN DESIGN:

You’ll be presented with a conceptual layout plan in 2D and 3D. We can go over this via Zoom and modify it until you are happy with the overall look and flow of the space.

STEP FOUR-FINAL DESIGN:

Once you’re happy with the layout, the material choices, planting plan, and outdoor lighting plan will be added to the plan. The plan will include everything the installing contractor needs to quote and properly install your project. This plan is conceptual in nature and does not include construction details. It will contain elevation views if there is anything in the landscape that demands it, such as an outdoor kitchen.

STEP FIVE-INSTALLING YOUR BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE:

We work with a landscape installer that knows how we like things done, know how to read our plans, and is in daily communication with us. Work with us for the installation and you are insured a smooth process and a beautiful outcome.
